CHS Business Report covers the companies, people and deals that drive the Charleston region's economy, from the port and the plants to the startups and the hospitals. We keep advertising simple: a few clearly labeled spots, never more than one ad in a story, and nothing that pops up, follows readers around the page or plays on its own.

Ways to advertise

  • Story pages. One 300 by 250 pixel ad in each story, set in the text on phones and in the margin on wide screens.
  • Front page. A 300 by 250 ad beside the latest headlines, or a 728 by 90 banner between sections.
  • Section pages. A 300 by 250 ad on the pages for manufacturing, health care, real estate and our other sections.
  • Newsletter sponsorship. One sponsor message in our email newsletter.

What we need from you

A PNG or JPEG image at the size you are buying (300 by 250 or 728 by 90 pixels, or twice that for sharper screens), the web address it should link to, and the dates you want it to run. We add campaign tags to the link so you can see the visits we send in your own analytics.

Our standards

Every ad is labeled “Advertisement.” Advertising is sold separately from news coverage: advertisers don't choose, review or pay for stories, and buying an ad doesn't earn or prevent coverage. We serve ads ourselves, without third-party ad networks or tracking scripts, so our readers aren't followed around the web. We may turn down any ad. Read more in our disclosure policy.
