   Haley signs $120 million in bonds for Boeing’s next North Charleston expansion

   Boeing has promised another $1 billion and 2,000 jobs at its 787 campus. Charleston County Council moved the same day to extend the company’s tax break and build a connecting road.

   The Army’s last Abrams tanks in Germany come ashore in Charleston

   The 22 tanks, offloaded at Joint Base Charleston’s Weapons Station, end nearly 70 years of U.S. battle tanks in Germany. They are headed to the West Coast.
