Supplement maker Thorne Research picks Summerville for headquarters and plant
The company plans a $35 million manufacturing plant and corporate office on Omni Industrial Boulevard and expects to create 330 jobs in Berkeley County.

WestEdge breaks ground on its gateway building after 17 years of planning
Officials started work Thursday on 10 WestEdge, a nine-story building with apartments and Publix’s first peninsula store. It is one of three buildings now underway on the 22-acre site. With a new road, they represent about $300 million.
