Port of Charleston and big manufacturers restart after Tropical Storm Irma
The State Ports Authority reopened Tuesday after closing Monday afternoon, and Boeing, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz Vans and Nucor reported little or no damage. Irma pushed Charleston Harbor to its third-highest tide on record.
