Arvaya AI Automations Consulting, a North Charleston firm that helps companies put artificial intelligence to work, plans to add six jobs over the next two years.
The positions are expected to pay an average of about $92,000, according to a Sept. 8 announcement from Charleston County Economic Development, which Charleston Digital reposted Sept. 15. The county is supporting the expansion through its new Job Development Incentive.
Arvaya, founded in 2025, describes itself as a woman-owned, SBE-certified AI and technology consulting firm. It helps clients adopt AI tools, build data systems for reporting and analytics, and clean, migrate and validate data, according to the announcement.
The company’s new facility at 4016 Salt Pointe Parkway will host workshops and community education on responsible AI adoption, as well as sessions on automations that may help individuals and business owners save time.
“Companies are investing in technology, but too often their systems do not communicate, their teams are stuck in manual processes, and their data is not easy to use,” founder and CEO Ashlee Jack said in the announcement. Jack, a Charleston native, said she was proud to bring “more technology, innovation, and career opportunities to the Lowcountry.”
In a June episode of Charleston Digital’s Tech Life podcast, Jack described Arvaya’s work helping architecture, engineering and construction companies automate.
Merle Johnson, executive director of Charleston County Economic Development, said the new incentive “was designed to help growing companies invest and create quality jobs here.”
In the county’s announcement, North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess called Arvaya “a woman-owned business bringing innovation, workforce development, and new opportunities to our community.”
The company said hiring is underway in project management, software development, data engineering, cybersecurity, training, operations and business development. It directs applicants to its LinkedIn page.
