Sculpt Dental Spa has signed a lease at South Island Market, a mixed-use development at 3791 Betsy Kerrison Parkway on Johns Island, SCBIZ reported Nov. 6, citing developer Pinckney Partners.
The practice is projected to open in spring 2027 and plans to serve Johns Island along with Kiawah, Seabrook and Wadmalaw islands, according to the report.
“Sculpt brings a different kind of dental practice to the islands,” Charles Darby of Pinckney Partners said in the SCBIZ report. “You can come in for a cleaning and talk through Invisalign or veneers with the same team, close to home.”
“Sculpt is a great addition and further establishes South Island Market as a destination for top medical and wellness providers,” said Tim Rowley, vice president of retail with Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic, according to the report.
South Island Market is a 34-acre master-planned development near the intersection of Betsy Kerrison Parkway and River Road, with about 82,000 square feet in eight buildings and 79 townhomes by Toll Brothers, according to SCBIZ. Buddy and Charles Darby of Pinckney Partners are developing it. The site has about 1,800 feet of frontage on Betsy Kerrison Parkway and 1,200 feet on River Road.
Other tenants include Roper St. Francis Family Medicine, Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty, South Island Pizza and Michael Mitchell Inc., with more restaurant, retail and service tenants to be announced, the report said. Rowley and Hannah Kamba of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic handle leasing.
The report did not disclose the size of Sculpt’s space or the lease terms.
