The Ravenel Bridge opens a year ahead of schedule
Arthur Ravenel Jr. spoke to a crowd the state put at 2,400 at the dedication on the new cable-stayed span Saturday before it opened to traffic. The old Grace and Pearman bridges were set to close for good the same morning.
