S.C. Supreme Court throws out neighbors’ lawsuit over Carnival’s Charleston cruises
The justices ruled unanimously that two neighborhood associations, the Coastal Conservation League and the Preservation Society lacked standing to challenge the Carnival Fantasy’s home port downtown. The court did not decide whether city zoning rules apply to a cruise ship.
